Gaucho Pants: What I Want Now

I'm sure most of us still have that frightening image of our mothers dressing us in an orange and brown pair of gaucho pants in the 70s. Am I right ladies?

Well....the gaucho is back. I know, I know....but seriously it's not as bad as you think. And stop making that tsk tsk sound.

Peace Keeper Cause-Metics Eco Easy Polish Remover

Hey ladies! Another beauty product review. I bought this nail polish remover from Peace Keeper Cause-Metics a while back. Of course I am always skeptical. How in the World could a company create a polish remover that is earth friendly AND handle the tough nail lacquers we all love?!  

Well yesterday I put it to the test. I was wearing a dark color on my nails....a lovely bright green. The directions say to apply the remover to a cotton ball and hold on your nail for 30 seconds. Then to rub until your polish is removed.

 So I did. I did not over saturate my cotton ball. And I only applied the remover to the cotton ball once. It was a little tricky to remove at first however, after a little effort, I was able to remove ALL of my polish. AMAZING! And this is with only 2 cotton balls.

 So what's in this stuff?! It's made primarily from sugar beets, rosemary, and spearmint. Really. AND IT WORKS! This product is biodegradable, vegan friendly, and has no nasty synthetic or petrochemicals. Best of all....it didn't rip up my finger nails like acetate based removers do. My nails were left soft and minty smelling even after washing my hands.

Swing Dancing

This weekend I am going to join the Friday Night Swing Club in Towson,Md and check it out. I have never been to anything like this before. Apparently they are the biggest swing dance group in the area. I do not know how to swing dance but its something I have wanted to try for a long time now. I promised myself that I would try something new & exciting this year. And I am sticking to it. Now I am wondering what to wear?! Anyone have any advice?

Anniversary

Wow! I can't believe my little blog is 2 years old!!! Amazing. I never dreamed it would even last a year. Ha ha!
